Bradford & Bingley Stand

History

BRADFORD RFC ( Est 1866 ) amalgamated with the BINGLEY RUFC ( Est 1876 ) and were founded in Season 1982-3.

The City of Bradford also has the distinction as being the ancestral home of the world famous BARBARIANS FOOTBALL CLUB founded in the city in 1890

The clubs headquarters and grounds are located in the scenic Aire Valley at Bingley approx 6 miles from Bradford City Centre on the A 650 Keighley - Skipton Road.

Bradford & Bingley RFC known as "THE BEES " are in the top 10% of English Rugby Clubs.

The Club

The club has corporate facilities that are second to none. It sits in 30 acres of Green Belt on the banks of the river Aire, which includes 3 Full Size rugby pitches one of which is floodlit.

It also benefits from having a ground capacity of 4000 and a purpose built modern covered stand seating 250 persons and a car parking for upto 400 cars.

Currently the club runs 3 senior teams and a thriving mini - youth section and has a total membership of almost 1000 members.

Over 65% of the membership is locally based and the club has the support of many local & regional corporate sponsors.
